Generic Cialis (generic name Tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase inhibitor) is a drug that relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to specific regions of the body. The purpose of Cialis is to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence). It helps to achieve and maintain erection by increasing blood flow into the penis during sexual activity. It may also be used for purposes other than described.
Warning! You must not take Cialis if any nitrate drugs (usually prescribed for chest pain) are used, as it can result in a sudden, very serious drop in blood pressure, which may lead to fainting, stroke, or heart attack. This applies to nitro-glycerine (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, and many others), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate, Isordil, Sorbitrate) and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket). Nitrates may also be found in some recreational medicine, e.g. amyl nitrate or nitrite. If you start feeling dizzy or nauseous, experience pain, numbness or tingling in your chest area during sexual activities, you must stop immediately and call your doctor with no delay.
You should not take this medicine more frequently than once a day. 24 hour pause should be kept between the doses.
You must contact your doctor or look for emergency if your erection is painful or lasts for more than four hours. Continued erection (priaprism) may damage the penis.
Cialis may also cause decreased blood flow to the eye’s optic nerve. Sometimes, a sudden vision loss may occur as a consequence. This rare side effect has happened to a small number of people using Cialis, majority of whom suffered from heart disease, diabetes, or high cholesterol, were smokers or over 50 years old. However, there is no clearance about this medicine being the actual cause of vision loss. You must immediately stop using Cialis and call for emergency medical help if you experience sudden vision loss.

You must discuss it with your doctor in advance if you have allergy to any drugs, or if you have:
If you have any of these conditions, you may require a specific dose adjustment or pass some special tests to ensure the safety.
